Krista began working with Lori in 1994 in the Jack Lenor Larsen Studio. Previous to that she had received textile training at RISD, a degree from Brown University, and an internship in Paris with Sheila Hicks. This followed being raised by a textile curator with a loom in the living room and a ceramic wheel in the kitchen.
After her days at Larsen, Krista went on to work for mills in Turkey and in India and then created her own studio to work freelance in both design and fine arts. Happy to be part of Lori’s team again, Krista works on the textile developments.

Nina is our most recent addition to the studio, a 2020 graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her degree in fashion and fabric let her explore a combined skill set of textiles and marketing. A jack of all trades Nina assists with the ins and outs of the studio, principally Lori’s jewelry collection.

Rachel originally joined the studio as a summer intern in 2016 while studying at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her degree in Fine Arts 3D nurtured her passion for both two and three dimensional design across a wide range of disciplines. Several years later, she has returned to Lori Weitzner as part of the design team, where she manages a variety of LWD projects.

Emily began her journey with LWD as a beloved summer intern and joined us full time after graduating from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2012. After five years as our wallcovering expert, Emily now contributes her signature eye for color and design as our Social Media Coordinator. She works remotely from beautiful Maine while preparing for graduate studies in sustainable design.
