Lori's
latest textiles were just honored in a 5-day exhibition at the
Louvre's Musee des Arts Decoratifs.
Promenade,
was featured in January during the Paris Bienale. The
display shows several creative applications of Lori's fabrics.
Promenade
launched last fall at the European markets and is just now arriving
in the States. It's designed for upholstery and window dressings,
with 8 patterns themed on “a walk in nature.” Lori
was originally inspired by antique garden gates, but as she delved
into the designs, it became an exploration of the nature of light
itself, and how it filters through tree leaves, clouds and skylights.
The
response to the exhibition at the museum was wonderful.
