Lori Weitzner, whose “romantic modern” style has infused upholstery fabrics, wall coverings, rugs, paper goods and fashion accessories, has also designed several passementerie collections for Samuel & Sons. The prominent purveyor of all manners of fine trimmings commissioned Weitzner to design a lyrical range of new passementerie for their flagship showroom in New York, as well as for their representative showrooms nationwide. Weitzner’s sophisticated collection was very successful, and the firm has since commissioned her to create additional designs.
Weitzner’s expansive collections are intended for stylish residential and hospitality contexts such as hotels, spas, showrooms and boutiques. Imaginative applications include adornments for draperies, pillows, headboards, lampshades, wallpaper edging, and Venetian blind sashes.
The passementerie collections are available to the trade through Samuel & Sons.
